Meet our team.
Together we create strong brands and
communication materials for business.

Kim D’Alton established Tangelo Creative in 1999 because he recognised that successful graphic design and business communications demand rigour and discipline, and he set about building a company in Perth that can deliver those qualities. Today Kim has gathered around him an internationally experienced team whose work on brand design, marketing material and websites for globally recognised brands gives them the strategic foundation to create dynamic, effective design solutions.

Our Team

Kim D'Alton

Kim D’Alton

As the founder and principal of the business, Kim is the driving strategic and creative force of Tangelo Creative. Before taking his graphic arts qualifications in 1997, Kim lived and worked throughout regional WA, shearing and then in iron ore and gold mines. He also spent several years on tugs and oilrig supply boats in the Gulf of Mexico. This unique background gives Kim a rare combination of problem solving skills, the capacity to see the issue from the other side, and recognition of the real-world consequences of decisions made in offices.

Maryann Howley

Maryann completed a BA in Business Administration (with a specialty in marketing) and also a Masters in Social Work. Her experience in working in senior roles for WA government agencies helped Maryann develop her strategic thinking, planning and project management skills. Andre Couto

For the past 15 years Andre has been working as a Graphic Designer and Brand Strategist. He has extensive experience and knowledge in brand guidelines and corporate materials such as brochures, folders, advertisements and signage. Other prominent clients include Vale, BTG Pactual Investment Bank, Pan Bank, Globenet, Citibank, Visa, Safra Bank and TAM Airlines.

Karina Boyden

Karina moved from Kalgoorlie to Perth in 2010 to expand her training in the design field. Tangelo News

In May we got a call from Julie from South Fremantle Laundrette. Her laundrette branding was in need of a refresh and she had a new exciting plan for her business to help out the community. We thought the project would be perfect for our work experience student, Chloe.

Start by writing down a list of keywords and topics that you think are most important to reaching your target audience and generating valuable leads. It’s essential that you think from your customer’s perspective, not your own.

SEO helps your website to be found on the web by search engines (mainly - Google). SEO is sometimes referred to as a ‘black art’ because most people don’t understand it and it’s continuously changing. The goal of SEO is getting the right visitors to your site.

We've put together a few tips that you might not have considered to make your annual report job hassle free, look great and be delivered on time.

Over the years, Tangelo has worked with many local governments who need to improve how they manage and plan their signage. Clear signage is important for safety, wayfinding, amenity and creating a sense of place.
