Indigenous Land Corporation (ILC)
Tangelo was engaged with a group of architects including Matthews & Scavalli and UDLA to work on a master plan for Clontarf Campus in Manning. Clontarf Campus is the home of a range of organisations who provide education and training to Aboriginal people from all over WA. Our role was to help articulate the vision or brand for the campus plus to design campus wayfinding signage.
As part of the master planning process, we participated with the rest of the project team in consultations with the tenants and ILC to understand the history, vision for the future and the opportunities for the campus. Alongside this, we created a signage map and plan for the campus. This was based on our understanding of the needs of tenants, visitors and circulation pathways. The signage design is simple and clear. It uses a colour coding system along with strong type to assist visitors with finding the services on campus easily. The signage was installed on campus in July 2016.
